Denton police say they have arrested a man who is accused of being a serial vandal.
Denton Police say 28-year-old Oscar Hernandez is accused of a series of incidents where heavy landscaping rocks were thrown through windows of buildings in the city.
Amy Cunningham with Denton Police says a few days ago, police got a call from a business that said someone was drunk and trying to throw a rock through their window.
Police responded to the call and identified Hernandez. He was then connected to several other similar crimes in the area and charged with multiple counts of criminal mischief.
Some of the windows that were damaged by Hernandez were huge. Cunningham says Hernandez is accused of busting windows at the Denton County African American Museum, the Bayless Selby House Museum, a downtown Denton bar, and a residence.
Hernandez posed nearly $14,000 in combined bonds and was released.
