DENTON (1080 KRLD)- The Denton County Transit Authority board was in the middle of budget talks when someone decided to spice things up. An inappropriate drawing, the kind you may have seen on a bathroom stall when you were in high school, was drawn over the video.
“It appears some people hacked into our zoom meeting and basically disrupted it with some obscene, and unwanted, imagery and audio," said Pam Burns of the DCTA.
She says there were similar attacks at the start of the pandemic. From a more serious safety standpoint, the DCTA is now reassessing its system to make sure it wasn't hacked and some of the critical components weren't compromised.
For now there does not appear to have been any bigger problems.
