DUNCANVILLE (1080 KRLD)- Duncanville police have arrested a 27-year-old man for shooting and killing his own mother.

Police say they got a call just before noon Monday about an unconscious person at a home on Merribrook Trail. When officers got to the scene, they found the body of 48-year-old Nissa Danielle Evans.
Detectives suspected a family member was responsible, and later found Evans' son Steven Hill at a local hotel parking lot. SWAT made the scene and took him into custody.
Steven Hill was charged with murder and is being held at the Dallas County Jail on a million dollar bond. No word yet on a motive.
