The FBI is investigating Wednesday morning's deadly sniper attack on the ICE office in Northwest Dallas as an act of targeted violence.

FBI Dallas Field Office Special Agent in Charge Joseph Rothrock says this is only the latest act of targeted violence they are investigating.

"While we are not releasing identities of any victims at this time, what I can confirm for you is that no members of law enforcement were hurt during this attack," Rothrock said. "If any member of the public has any information that would help the FBI's investigation, I would ask that you please report that to 1-800-CALL-FBI."

Rothrock said investigators found writing on the rounds near the gunman's location indicating it was anti-ICE in nature.

Those who were shot were detainees but the FBI would not confirm that.

"I'm not going to be identifying victims at this time," Rockrock said. "The only thing I will confirm at this time is that no law enforcement was injured."

Two of those who were shot has died. The other one is hospitalized. The gunman killed himself.
