North Texas is expecting more very heavy rainfall tonight with rain in the forecast all the way through Monday.

Yesterday's rain amounted to nearly an inch at DFW Airport with more in some areas.

That rain caused flooding in Coppell and Carrollton where the two cities' fire departments sent Swift Water Rescue teams to a stretch of Sandy Lake Road which runs over the Elm Fork of the Trinity where the rising water put drivers in danger.

No one was reported hurt but commanders warned it was a very dangerous situation.
