Hood County says four firefighters have been injured in the effort to contain two complexes of wildfires burning in the area. The "Big L" fire was 11,000 acres around midday Monday and 50% contained.

The Eastland Complex was 54,134 acres around midday Monday and 30% contained.

Two firefighters were treated for dehydration Sunday night. They have since returned to service.

A mother and daughter who work for North Hood County Volunteer Fire Department were injured earlier Sunday. The county says the mother was treated and released from the hospital. The daughter was also taken to the hospital, but she did not need additional treatment.

Evacuation orders have been lifted for the fire.

"Rainfall is falling across the fire area but crews are continuing suppression efforts," Texas A&M Forest Service tweeted.

In Granbury, six shelters had opened for people who had evacuated. Three families stayed at First United Methodist Church Sunday night.

"I'm a member of the church. We opened up the church for evacuees, and I just felt like this was something we need to do for people who are struggling," one volunteer said.

"I'm very happy to be here to offer support. I'll do whatever I can to help them with whatever they need," another said.

Volunteers had gathered pet carriers for people who had to leave home without notice with cats and dogs Sunday. One volunteer also said he had space available for livestock and cattle that had to be moved out of the area on trailers.

"If anybody needs a pasture to put them in, I can put them where they can have water and shelter," he said. "With possible storms, I would be very happy to do that for anybody."

Hood County is accepting donations for evacuees and firefighters at Decker Gym, located at 600 W. Bridge St in Granbury through 6 p.m. Monday.

The county says it does not need donations of water or sports drinks but was asking for:

*Non-perishable foods
*Lip balm
* Eye wash
*Alcohol-free wipes
*Over the counter pain relievers (Tylenol or Advil)
*Body Lotion

"It's just what you would need temporarily," a volunteer coordinator said. "Hopefully this rain is going to take care of some of that. Hopefully."

Because of health concerns, the county cannot take clothing.
