One lucky person in Kaufman County is a million dollars richer Tuesday after claiming their Powerball winnings from the drawing earlier this month.
It's not the 41 million dollars that are up for grabs tonight, but someone in Forney won $1 million dollars playing Powerball.
The winner matched all five numbers in the July 19th drawing and picked the numbers themselves. The winner has decided to remain anonymous. The winning ticket was bought at the Race Trac on FM 548 in Forney.
As mentioned tonight's Powerball jackpot is worth over 41 million dollars. The cash option, should you win, is just over 21 million.
Also, no one won the Mega Millions jackpot last night so Friday night's jackpot is worth about 910 million dollars.
Someone from Anna did win 4 million dollars in last night's Mega Millions game. That winning ticket was a Quick Pick bought with a Megaplier at a 7-Eleven.
