Just a day after Fort Worth City Councilman Cary Moon announced he is stepping down, the Star-Telegram has published documents suggesting Moon is accused of violating his probation in a Johnson County DWI case.

On Tuesday, Moon announced he is leaving the city council to run for a seat in the Texas House of Representatives.
Yesterday, the Fort Worth newspaper published a Johnson County motion to revoke his probation in a June arrest for driving under the influence. Moon was given probation but prosecutors now accuse him of violating the conditions by drinking alcohol, failing to submit to required urinalysis tests, travelling out of state without court permission and failing to complete community service.
