A Fort Worth man killed in Friday's concert stampede in Houston has been laid to rest following a funeral in Colleyville last night.
At age 27, Danish Baig was the oldest of the eight concert goers who died in the crush of fans pressing toward the stage of a music festival.
His brother, Basil Baig, says he was trying to free his fiancé and others from the surging crowd when he got pinned underneath.
Services were held last night at the Islamic Association of Colleyville.
His family says they want everyone associated with the music fest, from the concert promoter to the artists, to be held accountable.
Baig was a Euless Trinity High graduate and a huge music fan, and was engaged to be married.
