Police in Fort Worth are looking for a man they say is behind a string of robberies. They say it appears the same person has been targeting convenience stores since October.

In some cases, the suspect has threatened the clerk with a knife. In others, he has reached into his pocket as if he had a weapon - but did not actually display it. In each case, he has gotten away with cash. In some robberies, he has also taken checks or cigarettes.

The first robbery happened at the 365 Food Store at 3025 North Main Street in Fort Worth on Oct. 30. That store was robbed again on Dec. 7. The ABC Food Store at 2787 Hemphill Street was robbed on Nov. 15 and Dec. 1. Police believe the same suspect is also responsible for a robbery at the Food Mart at 5201 Mansfield Highway on Dec. 16.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the robberies to contact the Fort Worth Police Department's robbery detectives at 817-392-4377.
