There's still a big mess to clean up at Cook Children's hospital in Fort Worth where the Child Studies Center was flooded by a massive water main break Thursday.

The Fort Worth Water Department says the flood forced them to close down Lancaster Avenue from Ballinger to Henderson.

Tens of thousands of gallons of water gushed from the ruptured 30-inch line, flooding Lancaster as the water overflowed into the Cook Children's parking lot and then inside the Child Studies Center which supplies learning programs for children with developmental delays.

Once the water line was turned off, the clean-up inside the building began with vacuuming and cleaning.

Some programs will remain closed Friday and administrators will notify the families of affected children.
