This week's Half-Price Wednesday at the Fort Worth Zoo was one for the record books.
The Fort Worth Zoo set a single-day attendance record Wednesday with 26,433 people. that's 63 more than the previous record set back in 2013. The zoo's Avery Elander says new exhibits may be bringing people in.
She says that can show you how animals live in the wild. The zoo's executive director says they're grateful for the families in North Texas for their support, saying the community consistently shows up to explore new habitats, discover new animals and watch zoo babies grow.
