Friends are moving to help a University Park family injured in the same crash that killed 9-year-old Molly Mullens over the weekend.
Her parents and older brothers are still in the hospital with serious injuries and friends have set up a GoFundMe account aiming to raise $100,000 on their behalf.
As of 6 a.m. Wednesday, the fund has raised $95,000 of that.
Friends say Molly's mom Marissa will need spinal surgery and also suffered an aortic dissection in the head-on crash on Saturday in Wilbarger County.
The family was returning home from a Spring Break vacation. Michael Mullens was driving their SUV when an oncoming driver careened across the median and slammed into the Mullens SUV head-on.
He suffered several bone fractures. Their teenage sons, Connor and Sean, each sustained abdominal injuries and multiple fractures. They also will need additional surgeries.
