FRISCO (1080 KRLD)- Frisco police say a burglary suspect was shot while trying to break into a home.

Police got a call about suspicious activity on Belfort Drive Sunday evening. The caller said someone had come into their backyard, grabbed a ladder and used it to break a window at the home.

Officers heard gunshots when they arrived on the scene and found 18-year-old Clinton Montgomery of North Richland Hills with a gunshot wound.
