The Frisco man who was at the center of a hostage situation in June has now been indicted for 8 felonies.
Police say 46-years old Lawrence Westley Porath is being held on more than
$2 million bond for the June 9th assault that happened at a home in Frisco.
Police had been called to a home in an upscale community after reports of family violence. As they arrived police say Porath opened fire, then held hostages.
While police kept him busy at the front of the home, another police team was able to get children out of an upstairs bedroom in back of the residence.
Porath gave up after an hour and was arrested. He's now been indicted for aggravated assault, aggravated assault against public servants, aggravated kidnapping and violating protective orders.
