The funeral is Saturday for the Tomball man and his four grandsons who were murdered by a prison escapee in Leon County last week.
A medical examiner's report released Thursday says Mark Collins and the four boys ranging from eleven to 18 years old died from a combination of stab wounds and gunshots.
They were killed by Gonzalo Lopez who had escaped from a prison bus near Centerville three weeks earlier. After the murders, he stole Collins' pick-up and died in a police shootout about 250 miles away in Atascosa County.
A public funeral service for the family is scheduled for Saturday at the family's church in Houston.
