An actor best known for his role in the former Disney show Hannah Montana has been arrested in Rockwall County over the weekend.
Garland native Mitchell Musso, who played the title character's best friend, was arrested by Rockwall police on Saturday.
Police say Musso was creating a disturbance at a motel on Lakefront Trail. The clerk said a man came in and began eating a bag of chips and when ordered to pay for them he became verbally abusive and then left without paying.
Officers found Musso outside and when they learned he had outstanding warrants, he was arrested on the spot.
The charges against Musso include theft and public intoxication. Musso bonded out of the Rockwall County jail Sunday.
