Georgia's national championship winning quarterback Stetson Bennett has been in and out of jail in Dallas over the weekend.
On Sunday morning, Dallas police say they picked up Stetson Bennett on a charge of public intoxication. He was released before noon.
Police were called out to an east Dallas apartment building where 9-1-1 callers were complaining about someone loudly pounding on doors. Officers found Bennett and determined he was intoxicated.
Bennett is expected to go in April's NFL draft and is projected as a mid-to-lower round pick.
On January 9th, he led his Georgia Bulldogs to a 65-to-7 win over TCU in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
