The Haltom City man who drowned at Joe Pool Lake over the weekend has now been identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
Officials say Elmer Bautista-Perez died Mondayday. He was pulled from the water Sunday night and rushed to Mansfield Methodist hospital.
The Grand Prairie dive team was called out to an area off Estes Park where Bautista-Perez was swimming and went under. When pulled from the water, he was not wearing a life jacket.
