Fort Worth city water crews are working on a sanitary sewer overflow reported Sunday.

From the Fort Worth Water Department, Mary Gugliuzza says the spill was caused by last week's heavy rains. As of about 4 p.m. the overflow was spilling 300 gallons a minute near Pioneer Parkway in far east Fort Worth.

Officials say the quality of city drinking water was not affected, but Gugliuzza says anyone who uses water from a well within a half mile of the site should boil water until further notice.
