IRVING (1080 KRLD)- An Irving mother of two young girls has been taken into custody after she admitted to police that she smothered her daughters to death.
Police say 30-year old Madison McDonald came to department headquarters at around 10 p.m. Monday night and used the phone in the lobby to dial 911. She told dispatch that she had killed her two daughters.
Police released a video of McDonald walking around Irving PD headquarters. Officers arrived minutes later and took her into custody.
Officers went to her home off of Cowboys Parkway and found 1-year-old Lillian Mae McDonald and 6-year-old Archer Hammond inside. Both were dead.
McDonald was charged with two counts of Capital Murder of a Person under/10 years of age. She has no bond.
No word yet on her motive for the killings.
