Sneaky Pete's, a longtime lakeside restaurant and bar on Lake Lewisville, will close next month after more than 25 years in business.
Owner Nick Mehmeti confirmed the restaurant at Eagle Point Marina will shut down Sept. 28 following the city's decision not to renew its lease. Lewisville officials plan to build a hotel and conference center on the site.
Mehmeti said he had previously offered to develop a hotel resort that would include a new Sneaky Pete's, but the proposal was rejected. He plans to relocate the restaurant, possibly to The Colony, though details are still being finalized.
Until then, the original location will remain open through the end of September.
