DALLAS — The World Cup has brought an undeniable energy and a significant boost to local businesses in the Dallas area, including the private aviation sector.

Hannah Vincent, Director of FBO (Fixed-Base Operator) Operations at Business Jet, shared insights into how the tournament has impacted travel patterns at Dallas Love Field. Business Jet functions as a comprehensive aviation company, providing private travelers with a seamless, personalized experience that covers everything from fueling and concierge services to hangar space.

A Surge in Traffic for Key Matchups

Vincent noted that Business Jet has experienced a noticeable increase in private aviation traffic, particularly surrounding match days.

"We've definitely seen an increase in business aviation surrounding the matches, typically before and after game days especially," Vincent explained.

While travelers are arriving from all over the United States and internationally, Vincent highlighted that some of the most vibrant activity occurred when Argentina played in Dallas, drawing passionate fans from across the globe.

Flexibility in Travel Choices

The nature of private aviation allows fans tailored flexibility. According to Vincent, travel behaviors vary greatly:

  • Day Trippers: Many fans choose to fly in exclusively for the match and depart immediately after the final whistle.
  • Extended Stay: Others opt to stay for several days to explore and enjoy what the city of Dallas has to offer.

With the highly anticipated semifinal game scheduled to take place in Dallas, Vincent anticipates that reservations will continue to build as the tournament progresses and the stakes grow higher.

Preparing for the Crowd

To accommodate the influx of travelers, Business Jet has worked in close coordination with airport authorities to ensure optimal staffing and equipment levels.

As a family-owned and operated company that has been a fixture at Dallas Love Field for over 30 years, they pride themselves on maintaining a high standard of service. To celebrate the global event, the team has fully embraced the spirit of the games—sporting jerseys on match days, displaying flags in the lobby, and creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors discovering the city for the first time.
