Dallas (1080 KRLD) - A man has been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a shooting in a Dallas parking lot on Saturday.
According to Police, the incident took place in the ER parking lot of Methodist Central Hospital at approximately 8:30 p.m.
The victim, a 29-year-old woman, was involved in a disturbance with the suspect 41-year-old Jason Roberts, a male acquaintance, and another woman. The victim then tried to leave with the other woman at which point Roberts fired a round at the vehicle. The victim was hit in the leg, potentially by a fragment.
Roberts has since been taken into custody and charged.
