A man is reported to be in critical condition after being wounded in a Dallas police shooting Sunday evening.
Dallas Police say it was just past 7 p.m. when officers found a man with a known criminal record in the back parting lot of an apartment complex on Bennett Avenue in East Dallas.
Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia says officers were questioning the unidentified man when he began to struggle. Reports say the officers used a Taser to try to subdue him, but that did not work.
Police say then the man pulled a gun and that's when he was shot by one of the officers. Dallas Fire Rescue took the suspect to a local hospital in critical condition. No officers were injured.
