A man has died in a Fort Worth crash that began when another driver made a very bad decision Thursday evening.
A car and a pick-up truck were heading down one of the toll lanes on Loop 820 when at the last second, the pick-up truck driver made a sharp turn to take the toll lane exit ramp. But the truck slammed into the divider between exit lanes and the main lane sending the truck airborne only to land right on top of the car.
A caller told the 9-1-1 operator she thought someone was dead, and that was exactly right. The victim's name has not been released.
The driver of the pick-up truck was stunned by was not hurt. Police have not said if any charges will be filed.
