A man is dead after being shot in Carrollton last night.
Police say the incident began a little past 7 p.m. when a man showed up to confront his ex-girlfriend at her apartment at The Tallows, a complex on Frankford Road.
Police say the woman's brother was there and the two men quarreled.
Police can't yet say why but the brother shot the other man, killing him at the scene. He was not arrested last night and is reportedly cooperating with police.
Many cases like this go to the grand jury to decide if the shooting was lawful.
