A man was struck and killed by traffic in Haltom City.
Just past 8 p.m. 911 callers told police about the serious accident on Denton Highway. Police and paramedics found the victim already dead at the scene. Denton Highway was closed from Loop 820 to Browning Boulevard for the clean-up and investigation.
Police say the driver did stop, as required by law, and was cooperating with the investigation. Investigators are not yet ready to release details about what led up to the tragedy.
