A man wanted for a murder in southeast Dallas is in custody this morning in Tennessee.
Police say 25-year-old Kemone Rudd has been charged with the murder of 31-year-old Michael Pierson. Rudd was arrested by the US Marshals in Ripley, Tennessee on Monday and is being held in the Lauderdale County Jail. He is still awaiting extradition.
It was last week that police say Pierson was shot and killed while he worked inside the store on S. Belt Line Road. investigators say he did nothing wrong when Rudd entered the store and started shooting.
The 31-year-old victim was the father to a 10-year-old son.
