Mansfield (1080 KRLD) - Mansfield police say they have made an arrest in a weekend shooting at a popular city park.
Police say Saturday evening two people got into an argument on the basketball court at Rose Park when one person grabbed a gun from his backpack and shot the victim three times. The 18-year-old victim is in the hospital but will survive.
Police had a description of the suspect and put the word out, and this afternoon they arrested 17-year-old Gregory Holmes after receiving several tips.
Holmes is charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and has a warrant out of another agency for evading arrest.
