Starting today, Mark Cuban's low-cost drug company will start manufacturing its own drugs at its Deep Ellum facility.

The company called Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs Company will mainly focus on making epinephrine, an emergency treatment used in EpiPens for allergy reactions, and norepinephrine, a blood pressure medication.

Cuban testified in front of Congress that Cost Plus Drugs sells more than 2,000 generic drugs and 20 brand-name drugs directly to patients at a 15% markup along with a $3 pharmacy fee and a $5 shipping cost.

Cuban's company aims to lower the cost of drugs for patients and provide the needed pills to help solve nationwide shortages.
