Indictments have been returned against a McKinney man who led police on a chase in December with both a stolen car and a golf cart. Devin Davis, 28, has been indicted for evading police, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fraud and causing an accident with injury.

Davis was observed in a stolen car at the Days Inn at 2104 N. Central Expy on December 19, 2019, a news release says.  While trying to speed away, Davis cut through a Wal Mart parking lot, striking a car and slightly injuring a person, police say.

The chase with the stolen car ended at the Oak Hollow Gold Course when the car hit a grassy knoll,

“causing the vehicle to become disabled. He then stole a golf cart from a patron and continued to evade officers. An officer successfully deployed his taser and Davis was taken into custody.”
