A grand jury in McKinney has indicted a man for capital murder in the death of his 9-year old son.
39-year old Ponnazhakan Subramanian could face the death penalty in the fatal stabbing of his son that happened in January.
Police were called to a home in McKinney on January 6th after a neighbor reported a major disturbance at the home next door to his.
Reports say a woman had found her 9-year-old son stabbed and bleeding, unconscious and unresponsive in the garage. Her husband then locked her out of the house.
By the time police got there they say Subramanian was still in the house, but had stabbed himself in the stomach and cut his neck. He survived his wounds.
Subramanian is currently being held without bond in the Collin County jail.
