Two men are behind bars because of a double-fatal shooting in Garland over the weekend.
Late Saturday night, police learned a party was going on at a home on Magnolia near Highway 78 and West Walnut. Suddenly, there was gunfire and everyone ducked for cover.
When the shooting was over, four people were down. A Greenville man named Jose Garcia was dead on-scene and a 17-year-old from Garland died at the hospital. Two other people were wounded but are expected to survive.
Two suspects were arrested on murder charges including an Arlington man named Christopher Torres and a Garland man named Jesus Saldana.
Detectives have not said what sparked the shooting.
