A military training jet took off from Fort Worth's Alliance Airport Wednesday evening and was headed to Bridgeport Municipal Airport when it crashed into a field near the 1900 block of Highway 380.
Reports say the 62-year-old pilot sustained critical injuries and was flown to a Fort Worth trauma center. She has been identified as a resident of Washington, Texas.
A 58-year-old male passenger sustained serious injuries and was flown to a Denton hospital. He is from Florida.
The FAA has taken over the crash investigation.
