DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is in Dallas for a campaign stop on Monday.

The Democratic vice-presidential nominee won’t be giving a public speech or attending a rally. Instead, he’ll be at a private fundraiser. While Texas isn’t a key battleground state, it remains a lucrative spot for campaign contributions.

According to the Dallas Morning News, hosts Dori and Russell Budd previously held a fundraiser in March for President Biden, raising $2.5 million. It was the third time the president had visited their home.

Meanwhile, the first presidential debate is tomorrow, Tuesday night at 8. We will carry it live on KRLD and in the Audacy App... along with pre and post-coverage.
