More than 500K customers without power across North Texas

More than 500,000 customers in North Texas were without power Tuesday morning after severe storms moved through the area.

At 1 p.m. Tuesday, the outages included more than 320,000 homes and businesses in Dallas County, more than 55,000 in Collin County, more than 41,000 in Denton and Tarrant counties, and more than 17,000 in Kaufman County.

In Rockwall County, more than half of all ONCOR customers were without power. According to the utility's online dashboard, 21,617 of 41,461 customers were impacted.
