There are some new changes to the Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot this year.

More than 10,000 runners will take to the streets of Fort Worth next Thursday morning for the 42nd annual YMCA Turkey Trot.

This year the starting line has a new location. It's moving to the Shops at Clearfork. Race organizers say the new location will allow them to offer new activities, including a Kids Zone with a magician and a balloon artist.

As in years past, participants can choose between the 5K and the 8K. But now this year, they have the option of doing both - a 13K. Runners can first do the 8K, then take to the 5K course.

Those who complete the 13K will take home medals for all three distances.
