New system to slash wait times at pop-up vaccine clinics

MedStar and the City of Fort Worth are launching a new system that should slash wait times at pop-up vaccine clinics.

It's called Inoculate.

Matt Zavadsky, with Medstar, says the Inoculate system eliminates the need for people to wait in long lines to process their paperwork at pop-up clinics. Typically, he says that's a very time consuming part of the process.

"This system kind of resolves that issue," Zavadsky says. "It's a much better experience for the people coming to be vaccinated."

The software if making its debut today at the pop up clinic at the North Tri-Ethnic Community Center and the plan is to use it from here on out.

"It's going to give us the ability to vaccinate a lot more people within the timeframes of the clinic," Zavadsky says. "And that's really the goal: To vaccinate as many people as possible and to make it as simple and easy for the people that come as possible."
