DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Getting the COVID-19 vaccine in North Texas could soon come with another benefit: Prizes.
Today, the Dallas Regional Chamber is launching its new "Taking Care of Business" initiative to get shots to more North Texans. As an incentive to get the vaccine, certain residents in Dallas, Tarrant, Denton and Collin counties will get the chance to win exciting prizes-- things like Cowboys tickets and roundtrip flights. The incentive part of the campaign starts later this month.

Officials say the campaign's goal is to help get about 600,000 more North Texans vaccinated over the summer, raising the vaccination rate to 70 percent.
