There will be no bail reduction for the man jailed in a drive-by shooting that killed a teenager and a five-year-old boy in Fort Worth in August.

Fort Worth Police are holding a man named Anthony Bell-Johnson on a string of charges including one called "capital murder by terror threat."

On Wednesday, Bell-Johnson's lawyer tried to persuade the judge to lower his client's $750,000 bail.

Bell-Johnson's mother said no bail bondsman would help unless they could come up with ten percent of the bond, amounting to about $75,000. She told the judge the most they could hope to raise is $10,000.

In the end, the judge declined the request, meaning Bell-Johnson remains locked up at the Tarrant County jail.
