Another victory this week should start to get Liberty some consideration for a top ten state ranking in 5AD2. Liberty is averaging 49.0 ppg this season after last week's 41-24 win over Lake Dallas. Dynamic QB Keldric Luster ran for 118 yards and 2 TDs. Luster has accounted for 21 total touchdowns this season. Undefeated Frisco High will be a major test for Liberty. The Raccoons come off a 48-13 win over Frisco Lebanon Trail. RB Dylan Hardin ran for two scores and caught a TD pass. Frisco is averaging 53.8 ppg this year.

NORTHWEST EATON (4-1, 1-0) at TROPHY CLUB BYRON NELSON (3-2, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Eaton opened 4-6A play with a 42-21 win over Keller Fossil Ridge. QB Tyler Fussell threw for 278 yards and two scores, and also ran for three TDs. Byron Nelson looks to shake off last week's 68-7 loss to Southlake Carroll. TCBN WR Gavin McCurley had seven receptions for 93 yards and a TD.
6A #3 SOUTHLAKE CARROLL (5-0, 1-0) at KELLER (5-0, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Carroll opened district play with a 68-7 rout of Trophy Club Byron Nelson. The Dragons have allowed 14 total points in their last three games. Southlake Carroll is 21-0 in district games under HC Riley Dodge, who is 43-4 overall. This is a big-time measuring stick game for Keller, which last started 5-0 in 1967. Indians QB Tre Guerra threw for 3 TDs and ran for one in last week's 41-7 win over Keller Central.

Central lost to 5-0 Keller, 41-7. QB Kelden Ryan had a touchdown run.

This is the district opener for Timber Creek, which was off last week. Fossil Ridge lost to Northwest Eaton, 42-21. RB Landen Chambers ran for 100 yards and 2 TDs.
6A #13 ALLEN (3-1, 0-0) at McKINNEY BOYD (5-0, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
This is the 5-6A opener for Allen, which was off last week. Like Keller, unbeaten McKinney Boyd is one of the first half's great stories. Boyd preserved its spotless record last week with a 37-34 overtime victory over Denton Braswell. QB Ryan Shackleton ran for two scores, including the OT game-winner from a yard out.
DENTON BRASWELL (3-2, 0-1) at LITTLE ELM (5-0, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
Braswell looks to bounce back from a 37-34 OT loss to McKinney Boyd. RB Jaylon Burton ran for 265 yards and three scores on 43 carries last week for Braswell. Little Elm also played extra time last week, escaping with a 59-56 OT win over Prosper. K Tyson Bope booted a 31-yard FG for the game-winner. Little Elm QB John Mateer accounted for 399 total yards and 5 TDs.
PROSPER (3-2, 0-1) at 6A #4 DENTON GUYER (5-0, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
After last week's 59-56 OT loss to Little Elm, Prosper faces another undefeated opponent this week in 6A #4 Guyer. Eagles RB Malik Dailey ran for 190 yards and two scores last week. Guyer broke open a tight game in last week's 44-26 win over McKinney. The Wildcats pulled away with a Peyton Bowen kickoff return TD, a safety and a game-sealing pick-six from Austin Knapp.

McKinney lost to Denton Guyer, 44-26. RB Bryan Jackson ran for 136 yards and 3 TDs.

Coppell opened 6-6A play with a 35-13 win over Plano. Cowboys RB Ike Odimegwu ran for three scores. Plano West lost to unbeaten Lewisville, 64-28. West QB Vance Feuerbacher ran for 104 yards and a TD.
HEBRON (1-3, 1-0) at FLOWER MOUND (2-2, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
Hebron claimed its first win of the season last week, beating Plano East, 29-18. Hawks QB Jacob Buniff passed for 339 yards and 2 TDs. Flower Mound defeated rival FM Marcus in the "Mound Showdown," 17-14. After Flower Mound lost QB Nick Evers to an injury, Jr. backup QB Yale Erdman came in to run for the game-winning score.
FLOWER MOUND MARCUS (2-2, 0-1) at PLANO (1-3, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Marcus lost to rival Flower Mound, 17-14. Marauders QB Jaxxon Warren passed for 219 yards and two scores. Plano fell to Coppell in its district opener, 35-13. WR Michael Dorsey caught five passes for 134 yards and 2 TDs for Plano.
6A #21 LEWISVILLE (4-0, 1-0) at PLANO EAST (1-3, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Lewisville rolled over Plano West, 64-28. Farmers RB Damien Martinez ran for 199 yards and 4 TDs. In four games this season, Martinez has run for 753 yards and has found the end zone 12 times. Plano East lost to Hebron, 29-18. RB Ismail Mahdi ran for 174 yards and 2 TDs.
LAKE HIGHLANDS (5-0, 2-0) at DALLAS JESUIT (3-1, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
This matchup could very well determine the 7-6A champion. Lake Highlands comes off a 56-10 win over Irving MacArthur. QB Caden Dotson passed for four touchdown last week. Lake Highlands is averaging 52.2 ppg. Jesuit got three total TDs from QB Gage Roy in a 47-21 win over Richardson Pearce.
IRVING (1-3, 0-1) at RICHARDSON (1-3, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Irving dropped its district opener to Richardson Berkner, 34-7. Tigers RB Rashan Daniel ran for a TD. Richardson got 73 rushing yards from RB Kaden Alcorn in a 27-0 loss to Irving Nimitz.
IRVING NIMITZ (2-2, 1-0) at IRVING MacARTHUR (1-3, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Nimitz opened district play with a 27-0 win over Richardson. They've won two straight. Nimitz RB Eric Williams rushed for 118 yards and a TD. MacArthur has lost three straight after falling to 5-0 Lake Highlands, 56-10. RB Darelle Smith ran for 106 yards and a TD in the loss.
RICHARDSON PEARCE (0-4, 0-1) at RICHARDSON BERKNER (1-4, 1-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Pearce got three TD passes from QB John Gesin in a 47-21 loss to Jesuit. Berkner broke into the win column with a 34-7 victory over Irving. Rams WR Jamaal Saine had eight receptions for 170 yards and 3 TDs.
ARLINGTON (1-4, 0-1) at GRAND PRAIRIE (2-3, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
Arlington looks to snap a four-game losing streak. The Colts lost to Arlington Martin last week, 65-17. Isiah Williams had a fumble recovery for a touchdown for Arlington. Grand Prairie won their 8-6A opener over Arlington Sam Houston, 31-19. Gophers QB Savion Red ran for 100 yards and 2 TDs.
ARLINGTON LAMAR (0-4, 0-0) at ARLINGTON BOWIE (1-4, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
This is the district opener for Lamar, which was off last week. Bowie has lost two straight after falling to South Grand Prairie, 46-28. Bowie RB Tavares Duckett rushed for 187 yards and a score.
SOUTH GRAND PRAIRIE (4-1, 1-0) at 6A #16 ARLINGTON MARTIN (3-2, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
After last week's 46-28 victory over Bowie, SGP has won its last four. RB A.J. Newberry ran for 281 yards and 5 TDs last week. SGP's only loss is to Prosper. Martin rolled to a 65-17 win over Arlington. RB Sergio Snider rushed for three scores.
ARLINGTON SAM HOUSTON (3-2, 0-1) - OFF
Despite 229 passing yards and a TD from QB Justin Tone, Sam Houston lost to Grand Prairie, 31-19.
GARLAND LAKEVIEW CENTENNIAL (3-2, 0-2) at GARLAND (5-0, 2-0) - 7 p.m. Thursday
After a 3-0 start, the season has taken an unfortunate turn for Lakeview Centennial, which took a forfeit loss to North Garland last week. After last week's 56-29 win over Garland Naaman Forest, Garland has posted at least 48 points in every game this season. QB Cergio Perez is making a bid for all-state consideration. He threw for 428 yards and 5 TDs last week, and for the season, Perez has passed for 1,653 yards and 25 touchdown in five games.
GARLAND NAAMAN FOREST (1-1, 1-1) at SOUTH GARLAND (0-5, 0-2) - 7 p.m. Friday
Naaman Forest lost to Garland last week, 56-29. RB Kingsley Bennett ran for 166 yards and scored three touchdowns in the loss. South Garland fell to Wylie, 63-0, for their second straight shutout loss.
WYLIE (1-4, 1-1) at ROWLETT (1-4, 1-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Wylie rolled to a 63-0 win over South Garland. RB Blake Fuller rushed for 151 yards with five total TDs. Rowlett got a kickoff return for a touchdown from Joseph Brocks in a 65-28 loss to Sachse.
SACHSE (3-2, 2-0) at NORTH GARLAND (4-1, 1-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Sachse beat Rowlett, 65-28, for its second straight win. QB Alex Orji passed for four scores and added two more on the ground. Orji has accounted for 27 TDs in Sachse's first five games. Garland was awarded a forfeit win over Garland Lakeview Centennial. The game goes into the books as a 14-0 victory.
TYLER LEGACY (2-2, 0-0) at DALLAS SKYLINE (0-5, 0-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
This is the 10-6A opener for Tyler Legacy, which was off last week. Legacy's losses are to Longview and Allen. Skyline is still looking for its first win after last week's 16-6 loss to Mesquite. RB Gregory Johnson ran for a TD for Skyline, which is averaging 12.2 ppg this season.
MESQUITE (3-2, 1-0) at 6A #15 ROCKWALL (3-2, 0-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
These two teams are moving in opposite directions. Mesquite has won three straight. They opened district play with a 16-6 win over Skyline. Skeeters WR Jamarion Woods had two TD receptions. Rockwall looks to snap a two-game losing streak. The "I-30 Classic" with Rockwall-Heath was all that and more, but Rockwall came out on the short end in double overtime, 79-71. Rockwall had 716 yards of total offense in the losing effort. RB Zach Hernandez ran for 260 yards and a TD, and QB Braedyn Locke threw for more than 400 yards, but also tossed a game-sealing interception in the second extra period.
6A #8 ROCKWALL-HEATH (4-1, 1-0) at MESQUITE HORN (1-3, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
Rockwall-Heath last week showed they are worthy of their top ten state ranking in Class 6A, as they outlasted rival Rockwall in double overtime, 79-71. Heath had an eye-popping 775 yards of total offense. RB Zach Evans accounted for a big chunk of it, rushing for 270 yards and 5 TDs. Rockwall-Heath has won three straight.
NORTH MESQUITE (1-4, 0-1) - OFF
North Mesquite went into the bye week with a 25-6 loss to Mesquite Horn. WR Elijah Baesa had four receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown.

BIRDVILLE (2-2, 0-1) at BURLESON CENTENNIAL (1-3, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Birdville got 90 rushing yards and a TD from QB Aiden Dollar in a 31-7 loss to Midlothian. Burleson Centennial opened district play by falling to Mansfield Summit, 47-26, for their third consecutive loss. Centennial's David Clerk accounted for 228 total yards and 3 TDs.
5AD1 #6 COLLEYVILLE HERITAGE (3-1, 1-0) at MIDLOTHIAN (2-2, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
Colleyville Heritage claimed a big district win over Richland last week, 45-29, despite getting only ten points from the offense. The Panthers were boosted by two kickoff returns for touchdowns from Leon Covington, two interception returns for TDs and a 100-yard return of a blocked field goal for a touchdown by Marquaveon Spencer. Midlothian opened 4-5A-1 play with a 31-7 win over BIrdville. RB Jordon Richburg rushed for 173 yards and 2 TDs.
RED OAK (1-3, 1-0) at RICHLAND (3-1, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Red Oak opened district play with a 49-28 win over Mansfield Legacy. Jace Wyatt caught eight passes for 169 yards and 3 TDs. Richland hopes to avoid an 0-2 start in district play, after last week's 45-29 loss to Colleyville Heritage. Royals QB C.J. Nelson ran for 142 yards and 2 TDs.
MANSFIELD LEGACY (0-4, 0-1) at MANSFIELD SUMMIT (2-2, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
Legacy got two scores from Ky'lrin Heath in last week's 49-28 loss to Red Oak. Summit opened district play with a 47-26 win over Burleson Centennial. RB Keon Hobbs rushed for 95 yards and 2 TDs.
FRISCO INDEPENDENCE (1-3, 0-2) at DENTON (1-4, 1-2) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Independence has dropped its last three after falling to Frisco Reedy last week, 20-7. RB Brett Karhu had a TD run. Denton outscored Frisco Heritage, 48-45, behind another epic rushing performance from RB Coco Brown. Brown carried 40 times for 325 yards and 4 TDs. So far this season, the workhorse back has run for 1,036 yards and seven scores.
5AD1 #1 DENTON RYAN (4-1, 3-0) at FRISCO CENTENNIAL (0-4, 0-2) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Ryan has won three straight since the overtime loss to Denton Guyer. Frisco Wakeland was their latest victim last week, 27-3. Ryan RB Kalib Hicks ran for 208 yards and two scores. For the season, Hicks has rushed for 731 yards and nine touchdowns. Centennial got a field goal from K David Ni in a 24-3 loss to The Colony.
FRISCO HERITAGE (2-3, 0-3) at FRISCO WAKELAND (3-1, 2-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Heritage looks to snap a three-game losing streak. They fell to Denton in a shootout last week, 48-45. Heritage RB Shawn Wara ran for 148 yards and 2 TDs. Wakeland lost to Denton Ryan, 27-3. A field goal from K Nolan Krinsky helped Frisco Wakeland avoid a shutout.
5AD1 #8 FRISCO LONE STAR (3-1, 2-0) at FRISCO REEDY (2-3, 2-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Lone Star was off last week and has won their last two. Reedy is also on a two-game win streak after last week's 20-7 victory over Frisco Independence. The Reedy defense forced two turnovers and recorded five sacks.

The Colony went into their bye week with a 24-3 win over Frisco Centennial.

This is a key game when it comes to playoff hopes for both schools. R.L. Turner comes off a 28-8 win over Dallas Samuell. RB Devon Perez ran for 2 TDs. Newman Smith defeated Dallas Molina, 41-28. Caleb Chatman sealed the win with a 65-yard pick-six.
DALLAS MOLINA (1-4, 1-2) at DALLAS BRYAN ADAMS (3-1, 1-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Molina got a touchdown run and a TD reception from Terrence Reed in last week's 41-28 loss to Newman Smith. Bryan Adams was held to 100 total yards in a 42-0 loss to Lancaster.
DALLAS WOODROW WILSON (3-1, 2-0) at DALLAS SAMUELL (0-5, 0-3) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
Woodrow Wilson sits a half-game behind idle Lancaster for the 6-5A-1 lead. They've won three straight after last week's 45-20 victory over W.T. White. RB Nathan Barrilleaux ran for two scores. Samuell lost to R.L. Turner, 28-8. QB Romie White had a touchdown run. Samuell is averaging 4.0 ppg this season.
DALLAS SUNSET (3-1, 1-1) at DALLAS W.T. WHITE (3-2, 2-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
Sunset had time to regroup after being dominated by Woodrow Wilson two weeks ago. W.T. White lost to Woodrow last week, 45-20. Daviawn Bishop contributed a TD run and a TD reception.

Lancaster leads the district after their 42-0 win over Bryan Adams. QB Glen Rice, Jr., tossed three TD passes in the victory. The shutout was the third this season for Lancaster, which is allowing a miniscule 1.8 ppg in its last four games.
5AD1 #3 HIGHLAND PARK (3-1, 0-0) at SHERMAN (3-2, 1-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
This is the district opener for Highland Park, which had a week off after blitzing Rockwall. Sherman opened league play with a 38-17 win over Wylie East. Bearcats QB Phoenix Grant accounted for 298 total yards and three scores.
WYLIE EAST (2-2, 0-1) at 5AD1 #4 LONGVIEW (4-1, 1-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
Wylie East fell to Sherman, 38-17, for its second straight loss. RB Terrell Washington, Jr., ran for 161 yards and a TD. After opening with a blowout loss to Denton Ryan, Longview has been one of the hottest teams in the state. They rolled over West Mesquite last week, 56-28. Longview is at Highland Park next week.
WEST MESQUITE (2-3, 0-1) at McKINNEY NORTH (1-4, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday
West Mesquite comes off a 56-28 loss to Longview. WR T.J. Turner had six receptions for 89 yards and 2 TDs. McKinney North is on a four-game slide. They lost to Tyler, 35-18. RB Jadan Smith rushed for 125 yards and a score last week.
TYLER (3-2, 1-0) - OFF
Tyler defeated McKinney North, 35-18, for their third straight victory. WR Derrick McFall had a TD reception and a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Creekview is on a three-game losing streak after falling to Grapevine in the district opener, 42-26. QB Garrett Palacio passed for 295 yards and 3 TDs. He also ran for a score. After picking up a forfeit victory over FW Trimble Tech last week, FW Southwest put together a last-minute matchup with South Oak Cliff and dropped a 55-0 non-district decision.
FORT WORTH NORTH SIDE (3-1, 1-0) at FORT WORTH WYATT (2-2, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
FW North Side has been rolling of late. They shut out FW South Hills last week, 35-0. RB Brandon Forrest rushed for two touchdowns. FW Wyatt opened district play with a 70-3 rout of FW Poly.
FORT WORTH POLY (1-3, 0-1) at GRAPEVINE (2-2, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday
Poly looks to bounce back from a 70-3 loss to FW Wyatt. Grapevine got 94 yards rushing and two TDs from RB Caleb Texada in a 42-26 win over Carrollton Creekview. Grapevine has won two straight.
FORT WORTH TRIMBLE TECH (0-4, 0-1) at FORT WORTH SOUTH HILLS (0-3, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Trimble Tech forfeited last week's scheduled game with FW Southwest. FW South Hills fell to FW North Side, 35-0, and has been shut out in its last two games.

Hillcrest dropped a tough one to Mesquite Poteet last week, 35-28. Conrad fell to Dallas Spruce, 26-6. WR Christian Byrum had a TD reception in the loss.

Kimball goes into the bye week in a tie with Mesquite Poteet for the district lead. Kimball beat Adamson last week, 44-0, for their second straight shutout. They allowed Adamson zero first downs and -27 yards of total offense.
DALLAS SPRUCE (2-3, 1-2) at SEAGOVILLE (4-1, 2-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
Spruce got 115 yards and a TD from RB Jalan Warren in a 26-6 win over Dallas Conrad. Seagoville currently holds the fourth spot in 6-5A-2 after last week's 53-0 win over Thomas Jefferson. RB Ronald Manning rushed for 160 yards and 2 TDs.
5AD2 #6 SOUTH OAK CLIFF (3-1, 2-0) at MESQUITE POTEET (3-2, 3-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
This is one of the better games of the week. SOC and Poteet look to remain unbeaten in district play. SOC has won its last three. They beat FW Southwest in a non-district game last week, 55-0. WR Randy Reece had ten receptions for 153 yards and 3 TDs. Poteet defeated Hillcrest, 35-28. RB Joey Shaw ran for 152 yards and a TD. This season, Shaw has 629 rushing yards and nine scores.
DENISON (3-1, 1-1) at FRISCO MEMORIAL (4-1, 2-1) - 7 p.m. Friday
Denison comes off a 27-20 win over Prosper Rock Hill. Frisco Memorial defeated Princeton, 38-22. Memorial QB Ethan Lollar had 292 total yards and 2 TDs last week.

Lebanon Trail fell to 4-0 Frisco, 48-13, for their fourth consecutive loss.

Kennedale opened 6-4A-1 play with a 58-0 domination of FW Castleberry. That's two straight shutouts for the Wildcats, who allowed -10 yards total offense last week. Eastern Hills is tied for the early district lead after a 31-20 win over FW Carter-Riverside.
FORT WORTH CARTER-RIVERSIDE (1-3, 0-1) at FORT WORTH WESTERN HILLS (2-2, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Carter-Riverside lost to FW Eastern Hills last week, 31-20. Western Hills has won their last two, including last week's 49-0 victory over FW Diamond Hill-Jarvis.
PARIS (2-2, 0-1) at ANNA (4-1, 0-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
After spending time in the 4AD1 state top ten, Paris has had a couple of stumbles. They were blown out by Melissa last week, 47-10. Like Paris, Anna really wants to avoid an 0-2 start in district play, especially with a big game at Argyle coming up next week. Anna's Coyotes fell to 5-0 Kaufman last week, 35-14.
4AD1 #1 ARGYLE (4-0, 0-0) at 4AD1 #8 MELISSA (3-2, 1-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday
This is the district opener for defending state champion Argyle, which was off last week. The Eagles have won 60 consecutive regular season games, and that includes a lot of victories over district foes. This is a major measuring stick game for Melissa, which has been red-hot after an 0-2 start. The Cardinals routed Paris last week, 47-10, and are averaging 51.7 ppg in their current three-game win streak. Melissa QB Sam Fennegan threw for 337 yards and 3 TDs last week. The big question this week - can he do it against the stout Argyle defense?
KAUFMAN (5-0, 1-0) at CARROLLTON RANCHVIEW (0-4, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday
Kaufman was extremely impressive in last week's 35-14 win over previously-unbeaten Anna. RB Braxton Garmon rushed for 164 yards and 2 TDs. Ranchview lost to Terrell in their district opener, 68-0.

Terrell opened league play with a 68-0 shutout of Carrollton Ranchview.

Carter has won two straight after last week's 35-27 victory over Sunnyvale. Cowboys RB Edward Robinson ran for 111 yards and two scores. North Dallas has dropped three in a row. They fell to Alvarado, 41-7. WR Steven Starks had a TD reception.

Lincoln is on a three-game slide after last week's 63-42 loss to Godley. WR Jamel Hardy was outstanding in the loss. He caught nine balls for 220 yards and 4 TDs. Pinkston lost to 5-0 Lake Worth, 39-0.

Wilmer-Hutchins was off last week. Roosevelt lost to Bridgeport, 33-26. They've dropped their last two.

Bridgeport has won two straight after last week's 33-26 victory over Dallas Roosevelt. RB Kyla Powell ran for 90 yards and 3 TDs.
