A fire has heavily damaged a home in Northlake overnight and lightning appears to be the cause.
Late Tuesday night, as thunderstorms were rolling across North Texas, a fire erupted at a home in the Pecan Square sub-division near I-35 and FM 407.
The two-story home was fully on fire when firefighters in Northlake and Argyle arrived. The flames did heavy damage but no one was hurt.
Photos that neighbors posted online show the home ablaze with lightning still striking in the background.
