An officer-involved shooting is under investigation in Haltom City after a police officer fired at an armed robbery suspect.
The shooting happened Sunday morning at the Spanish Square Apartments on Dayton Street. According to investigators an armed man broke into an apartment and started fighting with people inside.
When police approached, investigators say the suspect pointed a gun at them and that is when one of the officers fired his weapon.
No one was hit and the suspect was taken into custody.
There is no word yet on what charges, if any, are being filed.
