One person has been killed in a West Dallas shooting and police say the killer is still on the run.
Police say the fatal shots were fired just before 7 p.m. Thursday in west Dallas. Police were called to a home on Leesburg Street just west of Westmoreland, along the south side of the Trinity River.
They found a white car with an unidentified body inside. They also found a number of spent shell casings around the car. But the killer was long gone.
Police don't know who it was or why the victim was killed.
