Organizers for the upcoming Republican midterm convention in Dallas are actively recruiting 750 volunteers per day to help manage crowds and assist attendees at the American Airlines Center next month.
The first-of-its-kind national gathering, scheduled for September 9 and 10, is expected to draw thousands of delegates, party officials, and supporters to downtown Dallas. According to the Republican Party of Texas, online volunteer applications are now open for roles including greeting delegates, directing traffic, guiding visitors inside the arena, and supporting venue operations throughout the two-day event.
Local party affiliates, including the Dallas County Republican Party and Denton County Republican Party, are sharing registration links on their official websites and social media platforms to help recruit North Texas residents. According to event organizers, volunteers must undergo a basic background check and attend a brief orientation session ahead of the convention.

The political convention marks a major logistical effort for downtown Dallas, with local law enforcement and venue managers coordinating security and traffic flow around Victory Park. City officials say the influx of national visitors is expected to generate significant local economic activity for area hotels, restaurants, and transportation services over the two-day period.
