Photo shows SUV used in hit-and-run of boy in West Dallas two weeks ago, driver wanted

Dallas police have released a photo of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run in West Dallas.

Police have been looking for the driver of the SUV since October 18th when a ten-year-old boy was run down while riding a scooter on Hammerly Drive in West Dallas.

Police say the boy was seriously injured and the driver of the SUV did not even stop. Detectives are hoping someone will recognize the SUV and tip them off to where they can find the driver.

The Vehicle Crimes Unit is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact Detective E. Knight at 214-671-0020.
