New details of a stalking pattern that ended in a Dallas woman's murder are emerging.

In an arrest affidavit, Fort Worth Police say Abigail Saldana, 22, worked as a dancer at a strip club near Highway 183 in Fort Worth and that Stanley Szeliga, 54, was one of its customers.

The club manager told police that Szeliga had been harassing Saldana, which made her frightened.

Last month, Saldana found a GPS tracking device that had been placed on her car, possibly cluing Szeliga into where she lived.

"The manager showed (police) a post that Abigail had put on Instagram on October 14th, 2021, in which she had found a tracker that Stan had hidden on her car in an effort to follow her," Fort Worth Police Det. L. Dickerson wrote in the arrest affidavit.

License plate readers captured Szeliga's pickup truck near Saldana's home six times since the middle of October, including on the night that she was murdered.

"A license plate reader database reported that the red Ford F150 ... was photographer at Midway Rd. and McEwen Rd. on 10/26/2021 at 20:22:40 hours," the affidavit stated. "The suspect's vehicle is noted as being in that same intersection on 10/13/2021 at 14:55:37 hours, 10/23/2021 at 20:09:46 hours, 10/24/2021 at 20:21:51 hours, 10/25/2021 at 13:26:36 hours and 15:01:59 hours, all of which indicate that he may have been stalking the victim as alleged."

Szeliga is charged with murder and is being held on $250,000 bond.
