A potential explosion in a McKinney apartment on Friday night injured two and blew out the windows.
The McKinney Fire Department say they were called to the Kinwood Apartments located at 3300 N. McDonald Street after receiving reports about a fire and explosion at 6:30 p.m.
On location, firefighters determined that while there had been no fire, the sprinklers had been set off by a potential explosion, which also blew out the windows of the apartment and injured the two people within.
The people were treated on location as their injuries were only minor. An investigation is currently ongoing.
