After a record-setting day yesterday, Denton County's vaccination hub at Texas Motor Speedway will do it all again this weekend.
Yesterday, the TMS hub vaccinated nearly 15,000 people, that is 2,000 more than the previous Speedway record set last month.
Denton County Judge Andy Eads calls it a "monumental day."
Denton County Public Health thinks yesterday might even be a national record for most vaccinations given at a single location in one day.
And they're going at it again Saturday at DCPH's first-ever weekend clinic at TMS.
County Health Director Matt Richardson says they're hoping to equal or even surpass the 15,000 mark again.
